Rangers August 25: DH Andruw Jones placed on 15-day DL |

News: Jones has signed a one-year, $500,000 deal with the White Sox, the Associated Press reports.
Spin: General manager Kenny Williams expects Jones to be a part of the team's bench this season, so don't expect him to be in the lineup for 500 at-bats in 2010. Even though his skills have fallen off significantly in the last few seasons, Jones is still capable of providing some pop, as evidenced by his 17 homers in 281 at-bats as a part-time player for the Rangers in 2009. |
